The History of Mallett Plumbing and Utility Company
Robert Mallett became the second president of Mallett Plumbing Company in 1994, following the retirement of his father, who had served as its president since the company was incorporated in 1969. Under Robert’s leadership, the company’s primary focus was commercial new construction. By 2000, Robert recognized a growing need for utility contractors in the greater Oklahoma City area, and the company, now known as Mallett Plumbing and Utility Company, expanded its services to include public utilities. The company, which occupies a 20,000 square foot facility in northwest Oklahoma City, has grown to employ eight full crews, as well as a complete office staff. Current and completed projects during the past twenty years, whether large, medium or small, include oilfield service buildings, healthcare facilities, office buildings, churches and schools.
